Your ideas were good. However I, (after watching it a few times) still missed most of the jokes due to voice clarity and actionscript problems. There are heaps of quick and simple ways to correct these problems.
Fix up the actionscript, sound quality and re-submit it...that is my advice to you.

Things I liked about this movie:
1) The date changes from the number '2007' to the words 'Ancient Greece'.
2) The marching song.
and of course
3)' order beer and pizza' lol.
Nice movie and good work. Made me laugh.

I enjoyed it. I mean the song and aniamtion worked well together and it was very upbeat. As this is you first I'd say you did pretty well but next time fix the bugs (eg. music finishes before animation). Little things like that can spoil a movie.
Anyway it's a 6/10 from me. Good luck in future works.

My only comments however are:
1) It should have been more snappy (faster cutting etc).
2) You should have done more of the play.

I could barely hear it for one thing and the animation was not to my liking. It also seemed a bit slow (especially seeing as they are get fighters). Fix these things and you might have a good flash.

They were alright graphics and sound. It was funny and had some pretty good jokes in there. Although I along with many of the other viewers don't know the 'in joke' it was still pretty enjoyable and of coure very random. Good work.
